Canada's 2019 Dental Hygiene Superhero
Nova Scotian wins national superhero contest
She is client focused, socially responsible, demonstrates great leadership –
she even has a red cape: Meet Dianna Major, RDH
According to the CDHA, the contest was to:
‘recognize those masked health care superheroes who work hard, take pride in what they do,
and make our communities better places in which to live, work, and play.
Nominees are evaluated on their client focus, social responsibility, leadership, integrity, respect, and transparency.’
Dianna is a Registered Dental Hygienist and received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2006 from Dalhousie. In May of 2013 Dianna opened one of the first independent dental hygiene clinics in NS. Her aim is to offer personalized dental hygiene treatments in a comfortable and caring environment.
In the summer, you'll likely find her and her husband rock hounding or hunting for beach glass and most recently starting a veggie greenhouse and garden!
